Eleanor has been involved in a wide range of commercial property transactions including institutional property acquisitions and disposals, lettings, auction sales and the financing and refinancing of properties in a variety of sectors.

Stephanie is a solicitor in the Real Estate Department. She joined Hamlins in December 2014 from Maples Teesdale LLP.

She has experience acting in a range of commercial real estate transactions for property development companies and investors. Her experience includes advising on sales and acquisitions and all aspects of landlord and tenant work.

Stephanie has acted for both landlords and tenants in connection with the leasing of retail, office and industrial premises. She has also worked for institutional clients on a number of 1954 Act renewal leases.

Fionnuala has been providing tax advice to corporates, multinationals, financial institutions and individuals for over 16 years. After reading Jurisprudence at Oxford University, she trained at Linklaters and gained further experience at leading City law firms and in-house at Goldman Sachs. She joined Hamlins  in March 2015.

Fionnuala regularly appears in the media on tax issues. She has appeared on ITN and Russia Today.

Lucie-Anne is a Solicitor in our Real Estate Disputes team.

She deals with all aspects of property-related disputes in respect of both commercial and residential properties. Specialist areas include: lease renewals, service charge disputes, break notices, trespass proceedings, dilapidations, release of restrictive covenants and recovery of rent arrears from current and former tenants.

Lucie-Anne also has experience assisting housing associations with possession proceedings against residential tenants and compliance with gas safety legislation.

Mark practices in commercial litigation and most recently in the areas of media and sport. He has broad High Court and arbitration experience and has appeared before a wide range of tribunals including the English High Court and Court of Appeal and before other tribunals including the private disciplinary panels, the LCIA, the ICC, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Rebecca is a solicitor in the media group, part of our EMIP Department. She joined Hamlins as a trainee in 2013 having obtained a Distinction in her LPC from the University of Law. Rebecca specialises in privacy and defamation, as well as related aspects of reputation management such as pre-broadcast and pre-publication interventions to prevent or limit attacks on individuals and companies. She also has experience with internet take-down requests, complaints under the Data Protection Act, and harassment claims.

Rebecca assisted Christopher Hutchings in representing one of eight representative claimants in the High Court in the first ever civil phone-hacking trial, against Mirror Group Newspapers Limited. She has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of civil phone-hacking claims against both News Group and Mirror Group Newspapers.

Rebecca works with many of the leading barristers in the field. She provides pre-publication advice to publishers and has pursued libel claims for individual claimants and commercial organisations alike. For example, she assisted former Crystal Palace Football Club owner Simon Jordan in obtaining damages and a statement in open court from OK! magazine, and helped to obtain an apology from The Sun in relation to an article it published about the RBoS Shareholders Action Group Limited.

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Rebecca spent over seven years as a journalist on national publications, most notably as Features Editor of Country Life magazine and Deputy Literary Editor of The Independent on Sunday. Her previous career and experience as a journalist at a senior level gives her a unique perspective on libel and privacy claims and a commercial understanding of the publishing world. Rebecca continues to be published, providing legal commentary for national and industry titles.

He provides reputation management and media advice to both private and public clients, including individuals, institutions and national publications. He has experience advising both claimants and defendants on issues relating to defamation, misuse of private information and data protection. He also provides pre-publication and pre-broadcast advice.

He is currently representing several high-profile claimants in the phone hacking litigation against both Mirror Group Newspapers Limited and News Group Newspapers Limited.

Michael trained at Farrer & Co and qualified as a solicitor in September 2012 before joining Hamlins’ media team in 2015.
